In the Suomu resort, you can also go on a Husky Safari. This age old Inuit transportation mode has become a popular past time in this era of mechanical machines. Many more of us are looking forward to adventures in the wild, where we can safely try out ancient skills and learning them again.

You can take for example one hour safari with your whole family February through April.

Each sleigh can transport maximum one grown-up and two children. One adult (person over 15 yrs) drives and you can of course change drivers during the trip, allowing each adult a chance to experience the thrill of guiding the dog team through the snowy forest. The dogs are used to being handled by novices. However, do remember that a proper adventure always includes unexpected experiences.
