By Plane:
You can fly either to Rovaniemi or to Kuusamo.
By train:
There is a daily night train connection between Helsinki and Kemijärvi. It takes 13hrs and comfortable 2 berth cabins are available with private toilet & shower on request. Check out at www.vr.fi.
There also is a car transport by train available once a week.
Selected flights and the trains have bus connections to Suomu during winter skiing season.
