Suomutunturi is located in the Arctic Circle, in Kemijärvi. You can easily reach us by car or public transport. You can also order a hotel transfer from the Rovaniemi airport directly to the hotel Suomutunturi.
By train and bus
You can get to Kemijärvi railway station from Helsinki daily with a direct night train, and from Kemijärvi train station to Suomu it is 44 kilometres. You can continue your journey by bus, for which you can buy a ticket in connection with you train booking. The Kemijärvi-Kuusamo bus takes you directly to the hotel from the train station.
During the holiday season, there is also a day train to Kemijärvi, scheduled for the 18 busiest holiday weeks of the year. The day trains cover school holidays, Easter, summer holidays and autumn season. During the holidays, you can order a transfer from the daytime train directly to Finland. Arrive by car
You can also get to Suomutunturi by car. When navigating with a navigator, enter the address Hotel Suomutunturi, Kotakuja 1, 98720 Suomutunturi. When you arrive, you will be met by the beautiful fell that rises above the hotel.
