The new Aurora Villas at Suomutunturi invite you to enjoy the comforts of a modern vacation cottage amid the peaceful fell landscape of Lapland. Opened in January 2026, the villas are located near the Itä-Suomu ski slopes, about two kilometers from Hotel Suomutunturi. The area features a total of 24 private vacation cottages, offering hotel-level comfort, privacy, and the unique atmosphere of Finnish nature. Relax under the northern starry sky
In the modern, 30 m² Aurora Villas, you can watch the Northern Lights or the northern starry sky right from your bedroom. The highlight of the bedroom is a large skylight that offers a view of the sky. Thanks to the spacious, heated glass roof, with a little luck you’ll be able to admire the Northern Lights right from your bed!
Aurora Villas are ideal for couples, but also accommodating for solo travellers, small families or friend groups. Extra bed option provides room for up to four people. The interior of the compact holiday cabins combine modern elegance with natural materials and textures. A warm Lappish atmosphere invites you to relax. The experience is topped off by a private, traditional Finnish sauna. Here you can enjoy the warm sauna steam at your own pace and cool off in the fresh fell air on your private terrace, or dive into the warmth of the bedroom to enjoy the magnificent Lapland sky.
