Top class front slopes

Suomu's frontal slopes dominate the hillside, towering spectacularly above Hotel Suomutunturi as you arrive. Three black slopes, Kisarinne, Pukkeli and Martti, offer speed and challenge for experienced skiers and a slope profile suitable for competition-level training. The slopes of Suomutunturi meet the requirements of the International Ski Federation for a big jump thanks to their steepness and 255-metre difference in altitude.

The snowpark on the front slopes has rails and jumps for variety and is particularly attractive to young people and freestyle skiers. For the youngest members of the family, there is also an easy children's slope near the front slopes, where they can learn to ski.

Forest skiing in the Eastern Suomu slopes

The slopes of Eastern Suomu offer families and lovers of skiing in the woods a peaceful environment to enjoy skiing. The gentler slopes of Eastern Suomu are perfect for beginners or for a more relaxed descent, but the area also offers lines, speed and challenge for more experienced skiers. The forest ski areas of Eastern Suomu in particular offer a wide range of training opportunities for skiers of all levels.

At the foot of the slopes you will also find a shelter and a lovely hut café, where you can enjoy a coffee and a bun after skiing. You can get to the East Finland ski slopes directly via the front lifts. You can also get there by car or on foot.
