Kuukkeli bird feeding

Meet the siberian jay, the brave bird of fortune of the northern forests. The siberian jay, "kuukkeli", as we call it here, is Finland's smallest crow bird, known for its rusty red tail and its fearlessness in human company. Throughout history, the siberian jay has been associated with many myths and tales.

In Suomu, you may feel the wildlife in your hands when the enchanting little bird lands on the palm of your hand to feed. Come along to meet the curious siberian jay and learn more about the small, friendly bird of Lapland's forests. Let the bird come to you and experience the magic of the nature! Our guides will provide drinks and snacks on the trip. Seeds for feeding the siberian jay are also included in the package. The safari lasts 2 hours.
