This is a program for you who wants a taste of snowmobiling. A short safari trip is perfect for beginners and busy adventurers looking for new experiences in the snow of Lapland. This experience is tailored to your needs. During one hour, our guides will teach you correct and safe driving techniques, and how to operate the snow machine in different environments. After the safety and driving instruction, we drive the snowmobiles through a snowy forest track or at a Lappish field.

Snowmobile safari to the top of Suomu fell
Drive through beautiful winter scenery to the top of the Suomu fell. Our guides will lead you to the top and prepare hot drinks over the campfire in a traditional Finnish style Kota. At the fell top, you can take your time to explore the surrounding nature independently and to experience the lovely winter silence of Lapland. The landscape provides the perfect setting for photography and unforgettable moments.

Aurora hunting
Come with us to chase the northern lights by snowmobile to the top of Suomutunturi. On a night-time safari, you have the possibility to see the aurora on a clear night sky. Our guides will tell you stories and facts about the northern lights around a campfire. At the top, we'll prepare Finnish sausages and hot juice. Enjoy the lights of the sky and an amazing view of the milky way and shooting stars. With good luck, we might catch a glimpse or even a show of the bright dancing lights of the north!

Snowmobile to Käsmä River
A snowmobile safari to Käsmäjoki hanging bridge takes participants to the middle of a snowy forest. Beautiful snow-covered trees and quiet landscapes offer a getaway from everyday life to the silence of Lapland's nature. By Käsmäjoki, there's a modern kota-house, where our guides will prepare hot juice or coffee by the campfire in the traditional Finnish way. At the campfire site, you have time to explore the Finnish forest independently by walking in the surroundings of the kota. The safari leaves from Hotel Suomutunturi.

This snowmobile safari takes you to Ärjäyslampi, where our guides will introduce you to the world of traditional Finnish cuisine. On a snowmobile safari you drive through gorgeous scenery within the Lapland wilderness. The safari starts from Hotel Suomutunturi and drives 24 kilometres through scenic landscapes to pond Ärjäyslampi. Traditional Finnish delicacies such as Karelian pie, bread cheese, cloudberry jam, glögi and buns are waiting for you there!

Snowmobile to Vilmavaara
A snowmobile safari to Vilmavaara offers a great driving experience that combines beautiful scenery with the wilderness of Lapland. The safari departs from Hotel Suomutunturi and drives through scenic landscapes to the top of Vilmavaara fell, 25 kilometres away. At the top our guides will brew a warm pot of coffee or juice over a campfire in a sheltered kota-building. Have an opportunity to experience Lapland's picturesque fell scenery! At dusk, you may also see the aurora borealis on the fells.
