Reindeer, familiar from the landscapes of Lapland, pasture along the northern forests and fells. In Suomutunturi you can experience the magic of Christmas and winter with these sweet northern reindeers. On a peaceful sledge tour, the reindeer, also known as Santa's flying helpers, take you through the wintery forest. You'll also get to feed, pet and photograph the reindeer. The reindeer farm is a short drive away. Transport to the site is included in the price.
Feeding the reindeer and reindeer herding
Experience an unforgettable sledge ride in the winter landscape of Lapland. Come with your family or friends! On this safari you will enjoy a peaceful short sledge ride of 300 metres and get to meet the reindeers: feeding and cuddling these gentle fell wayfarers. The reindeer feeding and sledge tour lasts from 30 minutes to an hour.

Reindeer sledge, feeding and the Lappish experience
Come for a peaceful sledge ride through the snowy landscape. Reindeer have a long history in the Finnish culture, and reindeer husbandry is still a livelihood for many people in Lapland. On this peaceful safari you will get to know the life of the reindeer and the most traditional and peaceful way of exploring the silent Lappish nature. The activity lasts about 2-3 hours depending on the programme. The reindeer tour covers a distance of 1200 metres.
